Ubisoft’s Breath of The Wild Rises This December

On September 10, Ubisoft aired its digital showcase event dubbed the Ubisoft Forward. The show opened with Gods and Monsters, a game that was revealed in 2019 at E3. Since then Ubisoft has changed the name to Immortals: Fenyx Rising.
The game is heavily inspired by the Nintendo’s Zelda Breath of the Wild. There are many similarities right from the art style, weapon choices, climbing mechanics, gliding, and some of the combat. It also seems to have puzzles similar to the dungeons in The Breath of The Wild. But that doesn’t mean the game lacks any originality. There is a character creator that seems quite deep and also affects your load-out. The game also has some cheeky humor and the story feels interesting. Immortal’s world also is much larger than Nintendo’s game.

Immortals Fenyx Rising™ brings grand mythological adventure to life. Play as Fenyx, a new winged demigod on a quest to save the Greek gods and their home from a dark curse. Take on mythological beasts, master the legendary powers of the gods and defeat Typhon, the deadliest Titan in Greek mythology, in an epic fight for the ages. The fate of the world is at stake – you are the gods’ last hope.
The game is helmed by Ubisoft Quebec who worked on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The game is releasing on 3rd December 2020. It will be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Nintendo Switch, Epic Games Store, Uplay, and Stadia. With Stadia getting an exclusive early demo later this year.
